We need more Reps & Senators to sign onto the letter that was sent a while back by, I believe, 16 different lawmakers.

Not enough. What we need is a federal law that states something like...

"Any elected official that gets sworn in and challenges the U.S. Constitution is automatically in breach of oath they took upon entering office and automatically relinquishes said office"

Since they swear (or affirm) the below, I see that it should be simple to throw out lawmakers who propose legislation that is constitutionally secured.

"I, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion,
You seem to believe that federal laws are actually obeyed and enforced. Against you and me perhaps; against politicians and other privileged oligarchs? Not so much. Indeed, more like not at all.
No matter how cynical you become, it is never enough to keep up. Lily Tomlin

Well, looks like we have a break. NOT a win, but a break. McConnell got off his high horse and actually did something. His letter made the ATF recind the notice for comment. Doesn't mean that we "won" anything other than a reprieve.

Looks like I can start dragging my lake for those that fell overboard.
