My Recent 1006 Buy

Well here is my recent purchase of a 1006 that i got for 500.00 flat.Came with 2 mags.Slight pitt mark of right side of frame past trigger guard,nothing deep and can be taken out.Look forward to range hopefully this weekend.

Was the mark on the trigger guard?  They made mark upside down 1 or T as as sort of proof mark at the factory on most all 3rd gen 10mm guns...there is usually a "P" on the barrel lug as a pressure proof testing!

No sir,it's on side past stamp,id say 2 inchs past stamp.Had armor person at work gander over,stated not deep and will require some rubbing.That's it.

Rub it with baking soda to see it that will remove it...or use the baking soda as a blasting agent on the spot, that should keep the finish the same...

I invested in a Hogue and 20lb spring quickly. The grip is well worth it!

You will notice less recoil and the brass will be closer to you

COOL! Digging my 1066 and congrats on the 1006 hope yous shoots as good as my 1066 does. LOVE those big ol S&W 10's!!
