Hey everybody, newb here. I've been reloading for years and finally got the pistol I've been dreaming about, in a caliber that's worth it(SA 1911range officer)! I got a box of ARX bullets on a whim and the only load data I can find is from the manufacturer, and uses autocomp, which the reloading shop out here straight up refuses to order for me. I have plenty of CFE pistol which is pretty close as far as burn rate goes. Has anyone loaded ARX's? With CFE? Any suggestions on working up a minimum load? I know it's kinda against the whole point of 10mm to run a 90gr round, but I want to get my wife comfortable with the new baby ;D thanks!

ARX 90 grain bullets are the weight you have?  Based on what I see I think you would be OK using the same charge weight of CFE Pistol.
I like Auto Comp powder & CFE Pistol for some applications and both do very well.  CFE Pistol loads usually using slightly more than AutoComp powder.
Study this data for CFE Pistol

Even the short and light 135 grain JHP is not hitting the full pressure with its load shown!
However I don't expect the ARX to be very accurate in overall performance but would make a hole!

I have been holding off on this post but I feel I do need to say something. I was reloading the 60g ARX for 9mm. I liked the round and if you believe the hype they are a different bullet for sure. I can't help with the load for your round but I think you should know they  are not making these anymore for reloading just for loaded round sales. You just got lucky finding the one's you found but when they are gone I bet you will not see them again. If you get a good round worked up I would save a quantity as you may never see them again.  Craig
Velocity if fine...Accuracy is final

Thanks for the info guys, glad to hear from someone who actually reloaded these! I'll let you know what I get, but I guess I won't put too much time into working up a perfect load, since I only have a few hundred. I'll probably load five at a time until I find something reliable and leave it at that. Shadow, thanks for the first hand comparison between autocomp and CFE.

I just checked, Midway still has the 90gr for sale if anyone else is interested in grabbing a box before they're gone for good.

Here's the load data from inceptor that I'm starting with, meant to attach to the OP, but here it is, in case anyone else is interested. Sorry I had to cut it in half to get under 250k.
