Just wanted to post this here. If anyone is looking for 200gr Gold dots for reloading, Rocky Mountain Reloading has them. They say they are brand new blemished but from the photos probably just the older style bullet they are trying to move.

Thanks, guess it all depends on how blemished they are..and welcome by the way!

Thanks Ken,
I put some on order. Who knows when I will get them but when I do I'll post some pictures. I've been out of the 10mm game for a few years. Dove back in with a P220 Legion and reworking loads in the gun.

dang! I just ordered a bunch of .40 180gr. HST pulled bullets. American Reloading has them  back in stock. 0ther .40 bullets too.

Checked them out.  Under description it states:

These are brand new premium bonded bullets. They were sold to us as blems and we were asked not to divulge who made them but they are quite easily recognizeable as one of America's most popular self defense bullets.

Does anyone have any blue dot loads worked up for these?

Kenk

BD, Lol, one of my all time favorites, I'm sure some of the others can help you out. As for a 180gr XTP or HAP, 10.4gr's is the ticket for accuracy. nothing hot, but man, they are way more accurate than I am.

I have used 10.5 grains Of Blue Dot from my guns with good results.  However I have loaded them with 9.4 grains of Longshot, 8.4 grains of BE-86 and also 9.4 grains of IMR800X.

I can get more velocity with the Longshot but the BE-86 is my carry load of choice!

Thanks guys.  Shadow I'm assuming you had better accuracy with the BE86 than with the long shot, IMR800X or the blue dot?

They were all fairly accurate given the performance level, the reason for the BE-86 is for the flash suppressed properties.

Where exactly do all these "pulled" bullets come from, anyway?

I don't think these are pulled.  Should be brand new.

Any idea how fast 8.4gr of BE-86 is pushing these 200gr bullets?

I clocked them at 1237 fps with 8.4 gr BE-86 from the S&W1006 5"
