I've decided to put together a complete glock style 10mm build.  Needing some recommendations on the frames from anybody that has ACTUAL experience with either platform.

Polymer80 PF45 frame: I like that it's an 80% build.  I've read some reviews that question the rear slide rails as being plastic instead of metal.  Is that accurate?

Timberwolf seems to get good reviews, but is a "firearm" and requires an FFL, adding cost.

I've already got a KKM 6" barrel on its way.

Also, any slide source recommendations?

I can't speak to the Polymer80, but I do own a Timberwolf large frame for my G20.

I love it. Bought it specifically in order to reduce the size of the grip for better control and comfort shooting it, and have not been disappointed at all. The version I bought was pre-built with no frills and has the polymer trigger shoe. No reliability issues at all, and the build quality is on par with the factory frame.

Easy recommend. Happy to answer any specific questions.
"The meek shall inherit the Earth" is a mistranslation. Properly translated it would say: "Those who have swords and know how to use them, but keep them sheathed, shall inherit the Earth". Carry every day.

Thanks!  That is what I'm hearing  on the Timberwolf frame, I appreciate your first hand knowledge.

Now to find a PF45 review.  I'd love to do the whole thing myself, but if it comes down to a less than stellar final result I'll just skip it.

Just built a PF45 80%, I've got a Lonewolf longslide going on it, haven't had a chance to fire it but working the slide it gets hung up at the rearmost travel, won't do it if I use my G20 slide, slight tap will release it, checked the slide with a mike and it appears to be correct, maybe some stoning of the guide blocks, life is getting in the way right now so it's gone to the back burner for a bit.
