Gunfighters Inc Kenai Chest Holster

Does anyone have one and do you like it?

I am wanting to get a chest rig before the fall hunting seasons start and this one and the Alien Gear option are the only ones i can find. Any recommendations would be appreciated and welcome.

I love mine. It fits my Glock 20, 41 and 40MOS. I've used it for hunting and hiking. Only negative is the draw is not totally silent like a leather chest holster is. Not a big concern or deal breaker but figured I'd mention it. It is super comfortable and durable as well.

Absolutely love the Gunfighters Inc Kenai Chest Holsters, I have one for the G20, as will as an additional skin for my RIA Ultra 10mm. Couldn't ask for a nicer chest rig

I have a couple Alaskan Pilot rigs made by double diamond. I like these because the adjustability. Easy to have it ride high center. Or off to one side and also low slung off to one side. Just a bit higher then a belt mounted cross draw. I carry mine under top most layer in quick access isnt needed and on top when it is. I have a Glock 40 and a Ruger Black Hawk model. I have had the G40 for about five years a d just bought the Ruger SA when I picked up a 327 revolver.

I dont see the Kenai allowing low slung and tgat was important to me in a hunting rig.

I have the Kenai for my G-20, and I like it a lot. I haven't looked at the Alien Gear holster, so can't comment.

Two things about the Kenai...first, a thumb snap wouldn't be unwelcome. It's not a quick-draw rig to begin with, and the gun will come out of the holster in a hard tumble...it's happened to me.

Second, if you wear it over your clothing you'll get a lot more saturated from sweat when you exercise, as the holster and harness compresses your layers and they don't breath. In cold weather I find it to be a significant issue. If you carry under your layers then access is very slow.

I have had a Kenai for my G20 for a couple of years and really like the setup. I run a 6" KKM barrel and reflex sights on it and it's primarily a woods/hunting rig. I did add a Double Diamond magazine carrier in order to bring a little more bang to the party. It's easy to carry under a light jacket on a remote trout stream or in the deer woods, and is easily accessible. Like others it wouldn't bother me if the Kenai came with a retention strap.

I use a Chest Holster but just setup a Thigh Rig for my 10mm for quick-draw on hogs.
