Got a couple of things I did today. First a friend came up with some IMR 4756 he didn't remember buying but thinks he did but couldn't remember what caliber he got it for etc. I looked it up on the net and it is interesting. You can use it for shotgun down to small pistol loadings. It's close to Unique in that it' is slow. I have never used it but it is all over the net. Second, I am trying a new technique for cleaning the shop up. It's like do a primer, put something away. You get the idea but it works for me. Craig

I called around and found a store 2 hours from my house that had them in stock. Me and a friend took a road trip today.

New to loading 10 MM, but been reloading for 40 years.

Much fun learning a new caliber and getting tooled up to reload it.

Order in from Midsouth; Bullet mold in 175 gr TC, 6 gang, 180 gr plated bullets, Hornady dies and ammo boxes.

Have powder and primers.

Welcome aboard dryflash!  That should supply you for a while if you have the primers and powder to make it all come together for your needs...
Go easy with your crimping of those plated bullets, 0.4220" - 0.4150" at the very edge of the case mouth as crimped should be plenty!
Best regards!  Enjoy the addiction!

Just so you guys don't think I am loafing I finished up some 9mm and delivered to a friend so being low on 9mm brass I deprimed and tumble cleaned a bunch. The 9mm was some hot 147g that he wanted for his kel tec rifle and I loaded them at book max (not real max) I have shot these in a S&W 910s with no problems. It is a warm load he will like.  Craig

A month ago I purchased a DPMS Oracle AR10 308 Win. Made some updates to it. Today I went to the range with various 308 loads I had made for my bolt action.  I shot 150 grain Federal Fusion, 165gr Nosler Partition and Ballistic Tip, 150 gr Hornady Interlock and 180gr Nosler Partition. The Fusion will be my go to hunting load for this rifle. The 165gr Nosler Partitons were a good load. The funny thing is the Nosler BT with the same charge both worked fine in the bolt action but in the AR10 it was quite a different story. The BT's were not very good. So know I will make up a bunch of the Federal Fusion loads using 43.5gr of Varget. After supper tonight I plan on popping the primers out of 308 and 300BO casings I have and will wet tumble them while I am at work tomorrow. Then put them on the dehydrator at lunch. Then start loading the Fusion rounds. I have 178 bullets. I need to chrono them for use with the Sig Sauer BDX Scope/Rangefinder. But there shouldn't be much of an adjustment. Scope was zeroed with factory Fusion rounds. My loads were only 1.25" high at 100.

I also tested some 41 Mag Speer Deep Curl and Nosler JHP Hunting both 210 grain. Fired from a Taurus Raging Bull with a AT3 Tactical red dot. Both loaded with AA#9. Both are accurate loads but the Deep Curl was slightly better. But I could hit 6" steel plate @ 100 yards with both. And 6/6 on 8"x8" zeroing target at 100 yards.
