Got these last night from the Montana Bullet Company.  Trying to see have anyone loaded this type of bullet with LongShot and or BE-86. If so would you mind sharing your load data. These will be loaded for my G20 with BarSto barrel.

I just use the Hodgdon book data for Longshot.  Even though this is for a jacketed bullet, it should work find for a cast bullet.  You should expect to hit the listed max velocity at a slightly lower charge due to improved bore seal of the cast bullet.

I have not used BE-86 with any 200 grain cast bullets to date.  If I were I would start around 6.5 grains and work up to a max charge of maybe 7.2 grains or a max velocity of 1100 fps.  Watch your case head expansion with a micrometer as you work this load up.  This is very much off book and use at your own risk.

All these did well. Thinking 8.4 or 8.6.

What powder did you test with for those numbers? :-[

@Shadow that UW 220 you listed it shot. 1146, 1165, 1170 and 1172.

Yes UW list the 220 HiTec as 1200 fps and not quite making the advertised, I think he test with a 5" barrel!
