10,000 lbs.  Looks like mostly lead/antimony ingots and isotope pigs, which are 96/3/1 lead/antimony/tin.  Little bit of sheet lead as well, which will be pure.

Current bid is $1670.00.  At even $0.25 or $0.30 a lb this is a good deal for lead/antimony alloys.  Wish I lived closer.

The stipulations where it had to be mutilated. (All scrap under this contract requires mutilation by the buyer prior to removal if allowed by the base or the mutilation must be witnessed and certified by DOD personnel at another facility.  Mutilation for purposes of our contractual obligation is defined as physically altering an item so that it is no longer suitable for its intended purpose and cannot be reconditioned.)

Does re melting constitute that purpose? ??? Probably/maybe :'(

"Mutilation on this lot would be limited to the isotope containers, aprons and portable shields. Ignots or sheet stock would not require mutilation."

Yeah.  Wish I were closer, too.  10K is a lot to ship!

That's my home town and I'm only about a 4 hour drive down from Dallas. Where do you need it to be delivered to? Say minus 1000 pounds for the delivery 8)

I would give you $2500 for 9000 lbs if it showed up on my porch in SLC.

if the current bid holds that is a steal considering that scrap lead is around a buck right now
