Kydex holster is very tight

Morning, because Gunfighter Inc does not make the exact Kydex chest holster for my RIA Rock Ultra FS / HC 10mm, they said the RIA 2011 would work well other than possibly being slightly tight. After some research, it looks like using a hairdryer might be the ticket, but don't want to wreck it. Any ideas would be great. It does work as is, but just seems to tight

I have tweaked lots of kydex holsters with a heat gun or, in a pinch, a propane torch.  Apply the heat a little at a time and check the plastic for pliability. You can do just a small section if that is all that is affected.  Once it starts to get pliable, just apply the adjustment and hold for 5-10 seconds.  Done.

glad it worked.  Most hair dryers don't put out quite enough heat.
