I haven't been on here in awhile, because back in June I had to sell my G29. Anyway, I picked up a G45, to give this "crossover "thing a try. Wow is all I can say. The lighter slide mass of the G19, and the full grip of the G17, this gun is so easy to shoot fast. I can triple tap with it, faster than I double tap with my G32. I added Glock +2's on two of the mags, to go 19X style. It's also got Tango Down parts now: Slide stop lever, Magazine Release, grip plug/glock tool, and flat face trigger.

The TD/VT trigger shoe is very nice. The flat face pretty much eliminated me pushing or pulling off occasionally. Then the way it is setup, to have your finger on the bottom of the trigger, which in turn gives extra leverage and makes the pull seem lighter. I run into people ragging on the Vickers Tactical trigger, saying it drags on the trigger guard. Well, when they first released them, the safety blade had a harder spring. That in combination with folks not positioning their finger properly, resulted in the safety catching on the frame, just before it goes inside. Instead of talking to the manufacturer (their CS is AMAZING!), they began cutting and sanding, making a lot of unsafe pistols. The newer triggers have a gray blade in the middle, indicating the lighter spring. I highly reccomend any of you to try them. They live up to the moniker "upgrade". After trying the trigger on my Gen5, I've since put them on my G32 and G33, as well as the wife's 33 and 43.

The magazine release, when I got it, it did not look like it would be any better than factory. Yet, after running some reloading drills, it did make it significantly easier to drop the Mag quickly. Again, highly recommended this part for your Glocks!

Slide Stop Lever, just like the magazine release, appeared no different than stock. It is a lot easier to drop the slide, my wife's 90 year old Grandmother can drop it now (Yes, I had her try it!)!! I can also drop it with my trigger finger, on either hand. Guess what, I highly recommend this too!

Anyhoot, i never thought I'd have another 9mm for carry, but this has become my favorite Glock. I keep it stoked with Ranger T-Series 127 +P+. I also picked up some 22 round ETS mags, and they work flawlessly as well. I got some 17's for range Duty, that way I'm not dropping my Glock mags in the dirt lol  I'm ordering some ETS 27rd, 31rd, for the 9mm, and 24 and 30 rounders for my .357 SIGs.

I'll get some better pictures up tomorrow!

PS: The Gen5 upper from the G45, runs perfectly on the G32 frame. The 32 upper ran fine on my Gen5 2-pin frame.

I have been eyeballing the 45 for a while but, I like carrying my P80 26.

I've been really happy with the G30  / .45 Auto for everyday carry. It's not only relatively compact, it also accepts the G21 / 13 + 1 mag
