Lately I've been loading several different cartridges...10mm, 40S&W, 357Sig, 9x25Dillon, 357 Magnum, 45ACP, 44 Magnum, next are some 38Spl.

First I need to size and lube some of my cast round nose bullets for this 38Spl these will be some more for plinking stuff.

Not much....have some 357 Sigs with 800X I need to try. A few loads in 10mm to begin fire lapping the LW barrel and need to load the Tubb's bullets I bought for same. Most of my time has been spent reorganizing finances for what seems to be coming and selling a few things to turn into assets.

Not the answer you were looking for, I guess. But you asked.  ;D

The_Shadow

The answer is what is important, trying to generate some participation so people can get a feel for what people are doing in these times of uncertainty.  :D  Be careful with the fire lapping, the pistol barrels don't have as aggressive a rifling as the rifles do.  I usually just lube the barrel with some good oil lightly shoot some jacketed bullets, then repeat.  :-\ Haven't seen the need to use  the Tubb's.

Keeping an eye on our future is a good idea with what this POTUS has been pushing with no budget or plan other than spending yet more of the People's money where it does nothing to help our own country!  ???

REDLINE

I'm in limbo while saving up funds to purchase more handloading equipment and 10mm ammo load components, among other things on the list.
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

I'm like Hunter, primarily 10 & .45 auto but plan to load some .44-plinking w/ lead and full-house loads

All my reloading stuff is packed still since he move.  Not sure if it will get outta the box before we move back in about 4 months.  I think I have enough ammo to get me through (about 5,000 rounds between 10mm, 30-06, 308 and 7.62X54R)  ;D

But I might get bored too.  And, once the contractors finish on their parts of the remodel, I will have 5,000 sq ft of hardwood to put down, and a bunch of paint to put up, six bathrooms to finish, and a kitchen to install.  So, maybe I should make hay now.

I've loaded the rest of my spp in 9mm (about 500 rounds) and have played with some local hardcast 180gr fn under 8.5 gr of power pistol to introduce a friend to 10mm.

Found another bag of 40S&W brass (300+), polished in the tumbler earlier, just now finished "pass-thru" sizing and reconditioning them.
Going regular size and deprime next...Done!
Next run the expander step...less that 12 minutes Done!

Just tested out some 45GAP and 357sig loads this weekend.  Guess it's time to get the stash of those up to a good number.
Been looking for some 168 gr 308 with no luck,  have about a lifetimes worth of 308 anyway but no 168gr.
Have some 270 loads to test out still, but not a rush right now.
Last I actually loaded up was 10mm 200gr, 44mag 300gr, 357mag 158/125 gr.

The_Shadow

Yea Michael, sounds good and that reminds me I have 600+ 30'06 cases to load up, all the prep is done.  I have 500 147 gr, pointed FMJ boattail pull-down bullets to load in those...maybe next week!

I havent shot 100 30 06 in my life, 600 would be well over a lifetime supply.

I guess I am more like The_Shadow.  600 30-06 seems like a good day at the range.

Of course, I shoot them from two M1 Garands.  Self-stuffers always seem to balloon the round count on a range day.
