I did a search with no results so forgive me if this has been asked and answered before.
Does anyone have experience with the Underwood 200 gr. Nosler JHP on whitetails? I normally use the XTP loading, but I bought these by accident. They both shoot equally well through my G40 but what research I did showed that the Nosler did not perform as well through denim as the XTP. I am worried that the Nosler will plug with fat and hair. Or am I just overthinking it? I have 25 XTP's and 60 of the Nosler's.
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Afternoon tcecil88,
With the correct shot placement, I'm sure the Nosler would work fine. I have had great success with UW's 180, and 200gr XTP loads and highly recommend them for whitetail

You might be in jeopardy of overthinking it just a tiny bit.   ;D
I wouldn't hesitate to use the Underwood 200gr Nosler.  They'll work very well in the application you have in mind.  If you you do your part as the hunter and put it where it needs to go, they'll work like
a charm.  I've used them on feral hogs and they worked well.
Good luck and happy hunting!!

I've taken 3 medium sized hogs 60-80 lbs with my 10mm reloads using Nosler 200 gr h.p. bullets.  the Noslers all left  one inch exit holes through the chests of those pigs. all were one shot kills. with minimal tracking. I wouldn't hesitate to use them on whitetails.

Thanks for the answers. I feel more confident with the Noslers now.
