I have the 220-10mm in reverse two tone/ DA-SA... and love it.

Yes the price is high but it is an excellent gun. About 2k rounds thru it without a flaw.

On the other side it is a bit heavy compared to a G20.
Also it isn't my carry gun ... my carry G20 is a tool and if it gets beat up , I don't really care.

Well gun got into LGS/FFL yesterday-finally. Went down to do the paperwork to satisfy the oligarchs in Annapolis. 7 day wait now before I can assume possesion. #$%^&&^##. I did get to hold it for a bit and it is an impressively executed tank.  Heavy enough Im not sure it can recoil. SAO trigger is pretty acceptable at this point. Ordered up some factory ammo for the break in. Will probably resorted to crafted ammo in the future. .40$ to 1.75$ a round will boost the GNP but bust my bank pretty quickly.
Now just surviving to next Thursday.

Sound like now you need to reload for the ten...
.15 per makes it much nicer to shoot😀

Plus getting set up for reloading doesn't have to break the bank. I started out with some pretty inexpensive crappy equipment, and slowly replaced or upgraded most everything. For me, working up single stage hand loads on the RCBS Rock Chucker is perfect. I typically do 50 - 100 rd's at a time, as well as hand weighing / verifying each load individually. When it's all said and done, you have yourself some match grade ammo at a fraction of the cost, not to mention, it's therapeutic; my wife knits, and I make bullets, Lol, Stinken old people

Yeah its really therapeutic. Ive been doing it, or rather fighting with a G20SF. The process has gone well and ammo rolls off in reasonable quantities. Ive got myself keyed into loads that cannot be doule charged.
Well Ive got a whole week to load up a batch of test and break in ammo. I do feel like a little kid at Christmas though. ---Is it time yet? Huh?            Huh?

;DWell, Ive done the alchemy of converting gold into noise and outside of a QC glitch things have gone well. After afixing the rea sight to the slide groups shrunk admirably.  An email to Sig got a quick response to the issue andand a promise to deal with the issue. Good response, good customer service. Will deal with this after hunting seasons here and in south are uver. Recoil is a bit of a twist to the right and a bit of muzzle rise. Couple of stumbles in the feeding area, but its still tight and not too limber. The tightness of fit is truly impressive and since its SS Im using a witches goo to lube it itsa paste of hBN and Mobile1. Its slick and the boron nitride embosses into the metal so even if the petoleum factor dissapates the dry lube is there for almost forever. But inspite of tight it is slick.  Im slowly retraining my eyesight and groups are showing the results. My groups aftera bit are shrinking and starting to stay in the black 3" bull. This off a rest. Brass is starting to form a nice little group too, about 15-20 feet away, except for the last round which is behind me.
Nice batch of 7 out of 8 in the 3" bull last night. Tried one after quiting the bench, offhand at 60+ yds and just a couple inches above the bull. Leaned against the barn and sent the last one offhand at 70yds. 3/4" from the center of the bull. Wow!. I gathered up all my stuff and did not try a second shott.
Needless to say Im am really impressed with this machine. Will probably put it to the test after Thaksgiving when the firearms whitetail season opens. ;D

Glad to here you will at some point find a specific load combination that the gun performs best with. That's the fun. Then like me you get this terrible disease called ten-a-nit-is the only know antidote is the proliferation many 10mm chambered weapons and every conceivable bullet for reloading.... :D

I bought the Sig P220 Elite Nitron model SAO with front night sight.

Those have been discontinued and are getting real hard to find.
