Just traded for this gun today.  I have a Taurus Slim that was a great carry gun except it has no safety on it and only had 8 rounds in it. The new Taurus has a 12 round mag so it's 13 rounds total is better I feel. It also has a safety which I like. The trade was with a friend that was drooling for the 45 I had that I didn't really like to shoot. My friend started out with a deal that gave me too much money plus his never shot G2!!  I talked him down to what I thought was a fare price and he is a friend after all. Very good day all in all and I will update as I shoot this gun tomorrow.  Craig

I think I am wrong on the safety issue. The slim has one I do believe but I can't check it as it's not here. Craig

Fairness is always the best policy regardless of if it's a friend or not...in my opinion

Between me & the GF, we have had 5 of the G2's. Currently have 2 of them.

IMHO, the best value out there.

Although, the new G3 may outshine it.

From what I have read the G3 is more full size and I was looking more for carry. I have a lot of full size 9mm guns. This G2 is about the same size as the slim but has a fatter grip to accommodate the double stack mag. It works for me real good.  Craig

OK put about 30 rounds through it this morning and for new it shot great!! Just slightly to the left but I can of course adjust that. Sighting to the right on the edge of the bull made it shoot on the bull. I couldn't be any happier but will report back as things improve.  Craig

Went to a gun show to meet up with my friend that makes keydex holsters but he wasn't there as he decided to go to another show somewhere. I was really bummed out but looked the show over but left early. On the way to my car there was a guy going in with a gun case with a sign so I new he wanted to sell. Bought a Kahr 9mm from him for cheap. Nice carry size but only 8 shot total. I all ways wanted a Kahr and now I have one. Will report after I shoot it.  Craig

Craig, good to hear that your getting on with your G2c. More than once I've had to square up some sights.

Shot the Kahr today and it was very good all rounds on the paper at 30'or so and for such a little gun no recoil to speak of.  Using my reloads I expected no problems and didn't have any.  Craig

I had a G2; my 86 year old mom liked and wanted it, she gave the little .380 body guard back to me so I picked up another one, my daughter and son in law liked it so much they both carry one. Check out lake line llc for good sights. stainless springs and guide,,, the little pistol is very accurate at 30 yards and has shot everything I have ran through it including some cast and powder coated hot stuff from my home bench... very impressed with such a cheap pistol.

G2C is incredibly accurate for a "low cost" sub compact.
Practice at 100yds, can usually hold 10 of 12 rounds on a paper plate.

I think I have a g2 not a g2c. I have a slim and this is the same size except fatter mag well as it's double stack to get to 12 rounds in the mag. Craig

Was out testing the 303 Enfield today and shot the Taurus g2 a little. No problems and it was so cold here I was only able to get off about 20 rounds.  As good as it needs to be and so was I.  Craig
