This should be a "step-up" from the lighter Black Horse Quirt I bought a week ago. This has a bit more reach and higher impact when brought to bear on either a marauding dog or miscreant.

People fail to understand how much pain these can inflict and in short order. The longer Quirt can be swiveled as you would a nunchaku and impact a face multiple times before a human can react. The pain would be tremendous and you don't stop beating the attacker until they are either completely bloody and senseless or until they've been restrained.

Remember Lee Marvin as Liberty Valance? Think about it.
