NRA dishonesty on parade

No, not that dishonesty. American Rifleman posted a review of the Springfield XDM in 10MM, which I own and have posted about. The review is at:

The author unconditionally raves about the trigger, as have I but from the opposite point of view, as it is truly horrible. I posted a review stating that and that either the author had received a special review gun, or I had received a particularly awful one, or the author had no idea what he was taking about. The post appeared provisionally, i.e. I could see it, but with a note it was awaiting review by rifleman staff. I had also stated that the trigger was the single very worst one I had ever tried on a firearm and that I had immediately replaced it. Then the review was deleted. Apparently NRA will not allow negative comments for products sold by their advertisers.

This is an organization that has gone seriously off the rails and has become about as trustworthy as the NY Times.

Yeah, I hear you. It isn't the NRA that my FIL was on the Board, that's for sure. Like they say about money and corruption. I'm more of a supporter of our State Gun Assoc. rather than the NRA. And FWIW, if you have NRA gun insurance, if there is another insurance company involved in the claim, they will not pay anything. So if some scum busts down the front door, steals your guns and you turn in a claim for the front door to your Home Owners Insurance, they will not pay one dime. Been there, done that, in that exact scenario. Other than there isn't a gun organization as big as they are, I think they're about as worthless as the democratic party.

This is your second post about your trigger, give it a rest. You should have sent it back but chose not to. Plenty of us picked these up when they came out last year and yes, they did have good triggers.

It would help if you learned to read as the post starting this thread was about NRA. The trigger was tangential.

One of the reasons I decided to not run ads or have advertising sponsors was because they often want negative posts about their products removed, and they can sue me if I let them stay up. No thanks.

I'd  think the honest way for NRA to handle this is to just not allow any comments. Problem solved.
