Wandered into a inventory reduction sale at the local cast&blast .   They had a Sig tacops 10mm for $700.   Seemed like too good a deal to pass up.

Took it out to the range and ran a few rounds thru it.  It shot great, ran everything I fed it except some armscor 180 JHP.  They wouldn't run in my Glock 40 either so I'm pretty sure it's the ammo.   A mix of 180-200gr jacketed and 200-220 cast all ran like a top.  Accuracy was as good as I'm able out to 45 yards.   I was able to hit my 9x12 steel gong about 75% of the time at 45,     My 6" gong was 100% at 25 yards.

I'm pretty stoked.  It will make a more compact backup than my Glock 40 w/RMR.

I have an IWB holster right now. It works but I'm thinking a nice OWB pancake will be more comfortable.

Nice should be some deals coming up here in the next year and half.

Congrats on a great pistol and good deal.

Great find!

My tac ops in 45 ACP is one of my favorite 1911 style pistols.

I'd like to have a 10mm version with a threaded barrel.

I know it's been a while--I'm hoping the op can come back with a happiness report on this--I've always really liked the Sig 'interpretation' of the 1911, and this one is among the nicest looking, to me anyway.  If they'd do this very thing in a double stack...wow.

To date I have a little over a thousand rounds thru the tacops.   I have only had one type of ammo that failed to function.  It also failed to function in any of my three 10mm pistols.   Everything else has been 100% function and accuracy has been fantastic.

I am very pleased with this pistol and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a1911 style 10mm

It is definitely a beautiful gun.  IMHO it is every bit as nice as my VBob.  Slide to frame fit is basically the same as well.  Time will tell on the mim parts, however for the price it is hard to beat.  If need be I'll drop in a cylinder and slide kit.

Does anyone know what the front and rear dovetails are?  I would prefer straight eight sites on it.
