Although I appreciate the many offers I get every week to purchase 10mm-firearms.com, I have no plans to sell it. The new trend is for a group or corporation to buy as many forums as possible, load them with advertisements, pop-ups and sponsors and make as much money as possible. While I respect capitalism in its many forms, I have no desire to make money from this website, either through selling it or by taking money from corporate sponsors.

This website will always be free of advertising, pop-ups, or paid sponsors. We will never have membership fees or a "paid members" area.

Grim Reaper a BIG Thanks for your dedication of this site...I appreciate it very much!  It has been the go to site for 10mm stuff these days!  I see the activity dwindling or only sporadic activity on the other sites.

The site is steadily gaining memberships daily showing good healthy growth.

OK on memberships, but I'm sure you have bills as a result. What about donations to help offset some costs?

I just recently found your site but not the 10mm. It is by far the best forum I am associated with due to no advertisements and popups. Yes I know it costs you money to maintain it and I for one would like to personally thank you for the great site where we can all come and share info and learn from others. I hope I can contribute as much as I take. May be hard to do as there are some really good and smart 10mm people on here. Thanks to you all.

Thanks everyone for being a part of our website. Keep spreading the word so we gain membership. Unlike the sites that compete with this one, my reward for having members is not money, its the knowledge that people actually enjoy it here as much as I do. It costs less than $10 a month to keep the site going. That's about a half hours work at my job so I won't need money from our members. Thank you all.

Another reason to appreciate this site, greater privacy. Personally, I don't believe a gun oriented website should pass visitor info to Google and others. One can look at the HTML of a lot of gun sites and see those popups and links go to Google and several dozens of other companies.

There are literally hundreds of sites that collect information on visitors to websites. Amazing how some gun website owners allow those links in their web pages.

If you don't like the ads, use the Adblock Plus plugin. It works. I never see ads, especially the google forced redirection pages. The plugin doesn't just "hide" them, it prevents them from ever loading, which includes the scripts they can run while you are on the page.

It is the downfall of many quality forums when the advertisements take up more space than the information.
