Precision Delta 10mm remanufactured loads

Has anyone used these? I picked up a few boxes cause they were cheap while ordering some 9mm bullets. I have shot a couple boxes and they are pretty weak. My 22lb spring spits the shells a foot or so away. They seem to be fairly clean firing and look to be a generic 180gr fn plated bullet. They use different head stamped brass and they definitely don't polish them. They appear cheap, feel cheap, and price wise are pretty cheap. Just wondering if any of you guys have any experience with these rounds and your thoughts.

Oh and accuracy is just fine with a very mild recoil. I had one primer ftf with a dimple but shot on the second strike. I have also had a few cases not fully go into battery without me forcing the slide closed with the help of the bench top but extraction after firing was fine.

The failure to go into battery sounds like a dirt/buildup issue.  Was the ammo clean burning or did it gunk up your pistol?

Other issues that come to mind are how well is the brass re-sized?   Are they using Pass-Thru or Scharch Roll Sizing to recondition the brass?  You may want to measure the area just ahead of the extractor cut to see what dia. that is.

Some times plated and cast bullets can shave some material while the bullet is being seated, (not enough flair or bullets being seated and crimped in the same step) this can cause a slightly larger dia. at the bullet crimp or casing if it rolled up inside.

Be careful knocking ill chambering rounds in to battery...this promotes bad habits for defensive preparedness or unsafe practices at a firing line!  Having gun pointed in unsafe direction or accidental discharge is not good!

Yes tight chambers and soot build up can lead to short chambering as well!  :'(

The barrel is a storm lake 6" for my g20. It is cleaned between outings. As far as shooting dirty I would say wolf ammo is one of the worst and this was mild with what seemed as unburnt powder upon swabbing out the barrel each cleaning. I do not see a black cloud when firing though and for how mild the rounds are I don't understand why there would be unburned powder.

The brass is mixed head stamps and doesn't look like they tumbled or polished at all. Handling it doesn't make my hands dirty like picking it up after firing it.

As for the nonfully chambered rounds I agree that what I did was not safe. That said I couldn't rack the slide back to eject the almost fully chambered round and couldn't think of a better option. If I were to have an AD I'd rather have it at the indoor range than my house. I am open to other things to do though as this is the first time its happened to me.

My concerns with the re-manufactures are if they were properly sizing the casings...if not chambering issues would be problematic.

I had a round which would not readily eject at an outdoor range, I had to press the slide against a block of wood to rack it open, put still pointed in a safe direction.  Always safety!

Some powders don't tend to burn well if pressures are lower, As pressure and heat build a complete burn can be enhanced...

Primer's effectiveness
Volume of the powder in relation to the space inside the case
Bullet fit and crimp

Any and all of these can affect the burn characteristics of a powder.

The music...hmm...I'm still waiting on 2000 9mm bullets that I ordered in January. They never said they were behind and to expect a 2-3 week delay.

Music is from the sound track of the movie the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. If you aren't familiar it is a spaghetti western staring Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach, and Lee VanCleef.

The website now says athey have a 16 week delay on ammo orders.

Figures with the lead time although it didn't say that at the time I ordered. However, I have blown through my small primer cache in the last 3 months and am amongst the 1000s of people waiting for decent prices on bricks. I can always get some primers at Gander Mountain but at 4.99 per 100 I would have to be desperate.

As for the music, it is familiar but I haven't seen the movie.
