A little nostalgia here..  I found these in the back of the closet... Haven't really looked twice at them for a long time.  I don't recall ever actually grouping or chronographing these.  So I'll do that now.
I found a 1985 Winchester Ammo Guide, so Winchester was still making them then. The bullet has some kind of lacquer adhesive/sealant on them. I was kinda surprised at how low the velocity was.  They didn't feel that warm at all.  The powder looks exactly like the powder in the Winchester 38 Spl 110gr +P+ LE only ammo.
WHY DO THEY CALL IT COMMON SENSE WHEN IT IS SO UNCOMMON?

This is not the typical Winchester powder that they produced (typically flattened ball types), I have to wonder if they were loading with other powders from other companies to make this one...
There used to be a commercial powder from Dupont called SR- 4756 which late became IMR SR-4756...

However data I have, shows 110 grain JHP only 6.1 grains making 1098 fps from a 6" BBL
The "10mm" I'm Packin', Has The Bullets Wackin', Smakin' & The Slide is Rackin' & Jackin'!

definitely some age in those rounds, are those the original silvertip with the more aluminum coating/jacket compared to the plated copper we see today?
