Here is another box of ammo that has been hiding in the back of the closet shelf for a while. This box of 38 +P+ was given to me several years back. I have a record of shooting this ammo three times out of a 4" 686 at 25 yards. All were shot over an Oehler 33 chronograph.  Two of these targets were before I started noting the temperature on the targets. Must have been a warm day in there somewhere.
This must be the same as the 'Ranger' ammo.
On the bullets pics you can see what appears to be some lacquer stains on the bullet. Also during the tapping in the inertia bullet puller, the core began coming out of the jacket. Some gentle persuasion got it back together. The ammo is not exactly a barn burner. Would have expected more from a "+P+" round. But according to the literature, it is right where it is advertised at.
WHY DO THEY CALL IT COMMON SENSE WHEN IT IS SO UNCOMMON?

This is not the typical Winchester powder that they produced (typically flattened ball types), I have to wonder if they were loading with other powders from other companies to make this one...
There used to be a commercial powder from Dupont called SR- 4756 which late became IMR SR-4756...

However data I have, shows 110 grain JHP only 6.1 grains making 1098 fps from a 6" BBL
The "10mm" I'm Packin', Has The Bullets Wackin', Smakin' & The Slide is Rackin' & Jackin'!
