I use the G20 in pin matches at one clubs. (because they spread a tarp and allow brass pickup.) My wife shoots it with me and she cannot grip the slide tight enough to manipulate it. So the lever is a easier & faster way to rack the slide.

I like it enough to add one to my G35 I use for 3gun too!

Ah!  I thought it was one of those aftermarket full auto thingies.

I love my G40 for hunting and woods walking and want to add a Gen 4 G29 to it for a backup in the backpack. I added a an RMR, a Lone Wolf Apha Wolf barrel and matching comp awhile back. I also want to get a KKM 7" barrel to play around with.
I never thought about using it for a steel gun. With the Alpha Wolf Comp it out to be great for that. I don't reload, but I can get Magtech 180's for $20/50 at the LGS.

I do it simply for trigger time. But must admit that when I place in upper 1/3 of all shooters and they learn I did it with full house 10mm not a lit 9mm or 45...  :P :( :P

Check out the Grand Power P40 10mm. I personally love it. 14 rounds, brass in the same zip code as you and reduced recoil due to the unique rotating barrel.
