Unique. That's a new one and not expected. At least it had powder  ;)

The_Shadow

That's what they used in the 357's the one which was short on powder...
These could be bumped up some as my Alliant data shows 6.7 as a max for the 190gr and Speer 13 shows 8.0 as max @ 1138 fps.

It's not strong ammo and as it looks they may be out of business. If I can confirm that I will move them into discontinued.

REDLINE

That's the truth.  It barely meets 40S&W standards.
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

What I would like to know is how drunk the moron was, that upon deciding to offer 10mm Auto in the lineup, decided on that load, let alone that powder at all.  I almost wonder if those are the types of decisions made when a company simply doesn't have pressure testing equipment to start with.  The again, one wouldn't need pressure testing equipment to recognize the nonsense of coming up with such a load to deal out to the general public.  Okay, rant over. :P

Seems I read more than a couple of people like Unique for general 10mm loads. I feel like we are getting to the Meat and Taters on 10mm!  :D

REDLINE

Plinkers only.  Nobody that I've heard loads anything JHP with Unique.  If they are, they have no interest in anything over 40 S&W power levels.

Well at least the brass isn't tarnished.  :D

I burn a fair amount of unique in 10mm, but as Redline says, it is not for performance ammo.  General training and introduction rounds for people new to center fire handgun.

It is VERY economical in 10mm, but ballistically doesn't really surpass the 40.

In 10mm that seems to be the #1 niche Unique fills.  And it fills that niche with flying colors!

nunnya

They are still in business.
I'm a newbe to 10mm with a Glock 20 and it shoots quite accurately.
It's cheap, available, and uses Starline Brass which I will recycle after I accumulate enough of it.
What's not to like?
