Hi,
I am trying to find some load data for the Sierra Sports Master JHP 135grs.
I want to use Vihtavuori N350 for strong loads. It would be nice to find an other load with HP-38 (I know it is fast) just for training.

Right now I am thinking of 7grs HP 38 with an OAL of 32mm / 1,26"
But I have no idea of how much N350 I should use.
Best regards and thank you for your support,
Rock

The Lee book has several loads listed for the 135 grain.

Starting.                  Max.                       Powder.                 Pressure at max
10.3 grains              11.4. gr                Accurate no.5.           36900
7.2.  gr                      8.0 gr.                Title group                35800
7.0.  gr.                     8.0 gr.                 Universal.                 36100
10.0 gr.                     11.2 gr.                HS-6.                       36900

The Universal looks like a nice light load posting velocities from 1284-1460 FPS the problem with the lee book is no barrel length is posted.

Thank you guys for the data.
This is what I have done so far. The 180grs bullet is lead with a thin copper coating.

I think will will start with 8,5grs N350 behind the 135grs, good choice?
And a 170grs FMJ TC from PPU should be ok with 7,5grs, right? All with the max OAL of 1,26"

rockwilder for your plated 180 grain 10mm if I have read the data correctly yo show an average velocity of 361 Meters per second, which would be 1184 feet per second.  Not bad at all!

It looks like you were using the 180 grain bullet over 7.3 grains of VV N350 powder with CCI 300 primers, It looks like you were shooting from a 150mm barrel or about 5.9"...
Highest velocity 371 M/S or 1217 fps
Lowest velocity 355 M/S or 1164 fps

These are respectable numbers and track with the info for the 180 grain HP in the chart I posted above!  :D

It will be interesting to see how the 135 grain bullets work for your testing!  Please come back and add you test results.  8)
