As a side note, from lucky gunner vid, my Slivertips still hold up well

I thought Sig was making this themselves. I know they just built a plant in Kentucky, a guy from Germany owns the patent for the vcrown so I was shocked to hear speer made it.

I meant shocked to hear Sierra made it.

I'm not surprised about the Win STHP ammo. That has been my in-town load. Seems about right. Strong enough without being on the ragged edge of pressures. Always group and cycle well in theGlock 20. They have been hard to find in recent years, unfortunately.

Hey guys, hello. This is off the subject but close I feel. A good friend just got a 10mm Springfield for his birthday from his wife and daughter!! Very cool family. We had a party later and I was looking around for some 10mm reloads for him out of my stock. I came across some reloads I did a few years back that were Remington golden sabor 180g. I had done them in Power Pistol but a light load. 8.0g I notice the max is now 9.3 or so. New data I guess. Anyway I had forgotten what a nice stout bullet that was and it's still available at Midway and probably other places. I just love giving meaningful gifts.  Craig

Golden Sabers are a nice bullet I loaded the 165's some time back!
Their nose is bore riding and the have a power band to seal the groves and reduce frictional surfaces.

I thought they were good so I got another 100 coming from Midway.  Craig

That's close to what I've used in 10mm with AA#9. I've actually used the Hornady 200gr at book max 13.2gr and that's stout.

With my Glock 20 kkm 6" and the 180gr at  book Max of 14.9gr I achieved a 5 shot average of 1384 fps and that's with a 5fps total spread.

If I used Hornady book max of 10.1gr 800x with the 180gr I got 1430-1450 fps.
