Well call me Rainman. I'm not impressed. Now if the guy had raised the gun up and hit the target, I'd be impressed. But shooting 21 "sighters" first then hitting the plate. Then shooting a follow up shot and missing it. That means he hit it once out of 23 shots. There's this thing called luck.....and he doesn't have near enough of it to impress me. Gotta good bud that has shot the 3 mile target. He wasn't impressed when I asked him how many times did he have to go back to the truck for more ammo. That was with a 375 Cheytac and the shooter is from Houston so most Texans who shoot the LD game know who I'm talking about.
We were chatting about killing coyotes in Texas at distance a couple of years back. There were a few long distance shooters in the crowd. One in particular claimed he shot one at 1800 yds. He was quite taken back and offended at my comments. I asked him to describe the shot. Well, they had to take humidity readings along with barometric pressure, then calculate wind drift and distance, etc. Then I asked" And what was the coyote doing while you're going thru all of this BS, reading Playdog magazine?" Rarely will a Texas coyote give you more than a 3 second look thru a scope. Time of flight of his bullet was well over that 3 seconds. IF and that's a strong IF, he actually killed the dog, it was pure luck.

Same In Minnesota, I get 3-4 seconds tops unless the dog is really interested in my decoy, or slithering through tall grass formulating it's game plan, hence the reason I mainly coyote hunt with my shotgun set up / Carlson Coyote Choke with hevi shot dead coyote  ammo, no optic to mess with : )

Add me to the not impressed crowd. The sun shines on every dog's ass once in awhile, and even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally. He spent $300+ worth of ammo to hit it once.
