About a year ago I bought a case of that from SGAmmo for that price per box.  Even though they still show that on their site as out of stock, they also have the same ammo but with a new SKU and new Speer box at $23.95 per box https://www.sgammo.com/product/10mm-auto-ammo/20-round-box-10mm-auto-200-grain-gdhp-speer-gold-dot-hollow-point-ammo-54000g .  I've often wondered if the $11.95 per box was a pricing error by SGAmmo because I have not been able to find that ammo that cheap anywhere else.  If it comes back in stock at $11.95 per box I will certainly buy another case at that price.

Yes it is a pretty good price.  Another thing or two that I would like to mention is that it feeds great in my pistols.  At the velocity that it is loaded it meets my needs.  I will never be in bear country so this loading from Speer meets my needs perfectly.  Whole I love to shoot the hot 10mm stuff(and do so often), to me this loading is perfect for self defense loads.

The price is correct, but that's what they were in the first run. The owner told me he won't be changingthe price until he gets some in. He wont get any in, until the prices are below $20.

That said, they have been out of stock for months.

I've had "notify me when in stock" set since Thanksgiving.

I checked the Speer website and it only shows the 54000GD, which is the current one in stock at SGAmmo,https://www.speer-ammo.com/products/ammunition/gold-dot?page=0&facets=computed_skucaliber_s=10mm%20Auto . 

I have not contacted Speer so I have no idea if they are currently keeping the 54000 SKU in the line.  I hope that they are as I would much rather pay the cheaper price.

Edit-  I just contacted Speer via their website and asked if the 54000 was still in production, being produced on a limited basis, or if it has been replaced by 54000GD.

The following is the response that I received from the Speer Technical supervisor:

James, we did a rebrand in January and it is 54000GD, same ammunition.

I hope that I am wrong but I bet that SGAmmo will no longer receive the cheaper priced SKU 54000.  Dang it!

I bought 5 boxes last spring at 11.95 to try. When I went to buy 1000 rounds a month later they were out of stock already by June.

SG has the 200gr gold dot ammo in stock. I have a few boxes on the way to try out. LuckyGunner also has it but it is better priced on SG.
