Sounds like FN is playing the legalease game in their statement. Not a "manufacturing" defect... notice they didn't deny a design defect.

I had as FNP FNH .45ACP in 2011 or so. It was soft shooting and really accurate. Held 15 round in a grip that was decent sized. Never had any AD fun issues. BUT the nose would droop terribly when it got hot, then they rolled out the new models with completely different magazines. That pissed me off enough to sell it.
