Well, I'm now 10mm-less

Isn't that the truth redline.

I have been considering the 9mm simply for the ease of shooting and lower price in ammo.

It's definitely easier on the budget to be able to stock up on premium factory 9mm loads than any other!  I simply put up with the hurt on the budget as I'm too anal with my own reasoning of wanting 10mm to switch from 10mm based on cost alone, even though sometimes it could make life overall easier.

QuoteThe good thing is that if I ever get the 10mm bug again, there are more players in the game than ever. Finding one shouldn't be too difficult.

No doubt about that.  Also at this time it seems to me like the list of players is still only growing.  I gotta figure it's only a matter of time before someone like Smith & Wesson, Springfield, or Ruger, offers a stiker fired alternative to the Glock 10mm offerings.  Time will tell.
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

I think S&W M&P is in the works but they are keeping so tight lipped on it. Couldn't spend for a Glock but would for one of those  8)

I picked up another M&P, this time a 9c to have something for my wife and new shooters to try out. It's my only non-1911 with the exception of a 357 snubbie and a Bersa 22. Of all the polymers I prefer the M&P line for sure.

Doubt I go the custom route again for another 10.

Well I just got my SECOND!

First there was the Dan Wesson Razorback.

Now I just got my custom build Fusion Firearms Long slide.

I do have a stainless Springfield Armory 1911A GI in .45......I like my 10mm's MUCH better!
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Well, when you reload we're talking pennies per box difference. The 230 grain RN bullets I use for .45 ACP are $128/1000 shipped. The 185 grain FRN 40bullets with  which I shoot boy 40 S&W and 10mm are $108/1000 shipped, and the 125 grain FP 9mm bullets I use are $77/1000 shipped. So for a little difference I can shoot lots of ammo.

when you cast your own bullets from free lead, the difference gets even smaller.

If I wasn't so lazy, I probably would go into casting. But with neither the inclination or the skills, I'll just buy what I know works ans STILL save big bucks. Like the last time I used a reloading calculator, I came up with a price of $7.31/50 of my favorite recipe 10mm reloads. When's the last time (if ever!) have you seen a storebought box of 10mm ammo go for that? And they are ACCURATE, too
