What happened? Rainier Bullets

Thought I'd see what bullets I needed for reloading before the warm weather sets in again. Looked for my usual Rainier 9mm 115 HP and the 45 ACP 200 gr HP. Nobody has hardly any Rainier Bullets of any kind. The shelves are empty. Natchez and Midway both have next to none. I looked at the Rainier website and looked thru their product line. They pretty much don't make any of the bullets I've been shooting for years. The 45 200gr HP WAS a round nose with a five sided hollow point. That's gone but they have a TCHP with a round HP. The 9mm is the same cone bullet with a round HP. The 40 caliber 135 gr HP is now a flat nose. While I was looking at bullets at various websites, it looks like Xtreme Bullets has the old Rainier profiles. Did Rainier sell out to somebody? What happened? Looks like I'm going to have to start all over working up loads for the various guns in the family now. That's a lot of work considering.

Xtreme makes very good bullets.

Filed for bankruptcy.

This is a chapter 11 re-org, and should not deter one from buying their products.

Be careful. Extreme is still making delivery.  Some cases delayed. Other divisions, charged cards and no follow through.

I have nothing against the company. I want them to succeed.

Fair point.  As I typed it I thought to myself,"only buy in-stock".

Yeah, I would like to see them be successful. Considering the market I can't understand how any gun related business could be in financial problems. If they can't make it now, no reason to believe they can make if it gets rough. I'm leaning real hard at buying the Everglades new jacketed bullets instead. They are US made and the reviews have been good. Prices are as good as some of the plated stuff. The bullet profiles almost look like the Speer Gold Dots. I guess there's one way to find out how good they are.

I've been shooting their jacketed 165's for a  couple of years and love them. They are identical to the Winchester 165's. That I bought from MidwayUSA.
