ADDED TO THE 10MM COLLECTION

My affliction for the 10mm continues to grow.

While I have had nice guns such as the Wilson EDC X9, I feel that Dan Wesson is the best production gun made. And since I find the 10mm to be my favorite cartridge, it only seemed logical to get another DW 10. Right???

I have a RAZORBACK and wanted something smaller. Been on the hunt for a CBOB.  Seems like they are hard to find at a reasonable price. Came across a site that was new to me called GUNS.COM. Apparently a offshoot of LUCKYGUNNER.

They had a like new example for a nice price. I offered a few bucks less, they accepted. Just so happened to time it with BLACK FRIDAY so I got free PRIORITY shipping. All told, got the gun for $870 shipped. 

They did good EXCEPT that they would send me automated emails a dozen times a day, and that got VERY ANNOYING.

My FFL called me when it came in and luckilly I got off work a little early so I had time to take her out to my semi private shootin area.

Very pleased with her performance. So far I've put 150 rnds of Magtech and S&B FMJ down the pipe WITH NARY A SINGLE ISSUE. She seems as if she hadn't had much use from the prior owner and is still quite tight.

I didn't like the grips that she had, so I put on the stock grips that came with my Valkyrie. They work much better and I will have to trim them down this weekend to fit the "bob".

I also need to call Trijicon about the night sights being dead.

I've got the C-BOB in 45ACP, it's what I would design if I had the opportunity.  Stainless steel, Commander-length, night sights, and the rounded butt.  Lots to like there!

I'd show a photo of mine, but somehow I never took one of that gun.  Can we get a peek at yours?

I have one of the last production year of the CBOB in 10mm in bi-tone color. Cerakoted black slide with stainless frame. From what CZ told me there were only around 100 of these made.



I also have a 45ACP CBOB as well. I picked this one up used. It is slick as greased lightning.

So I checked in with Trijicon. The gave me a RA# and told me to send the sights in.
IDK ...  she's my new favorite and I'm not sure that I want her down for 4-6 wks.

Not sure that I need night sights on this piece.
