Has anyone tried out the Team Never Quit 125 gr. Frangible? I bought a box at Cabela's for $15.99/20. I thought if they shot well enough, they might make a good HD load.

I plan to shoot it out of my G40. I will hopefully get to the range in the next few weeks to try it out.

While I've never shot any frangible bullets in a 10mm, I have shot a bunch of 9mm frangible. I had found the Remington branded Sinterfire 9mm 100gr bullets only on a close out deal about 4 years ago. My thoughts were they would make great plinker bullets. Wrong. You're lucky if you can hit your truck at 50 yds with them. I've tried different guns, different loads but any kind of accuracy eludes me. Seems this is a common problem with the Sinterfire frangible bullets. Hard to get the bullet reliably balanced at the rpms it has to face coming out of any barrel from manufactured batch to batch. They're now used as slingshot fodder. Maybe for real close encounter scenarios they might be okay but I'd certainly not want to put my life at risk using a "maybe" kinda bullet.

I think frangibles are best deployed at point blank practice on steel targets.

I never got those bullets to shoot very well either.

Yeah, I read those 2 posts. But unless I missed it, I did not see any accuracy results or opinions about the load from people who have shot it, which was what I was wanting to know.

I have fired quite a bit of the 125 grain Never Quit frangible out of my G20 and G40 as well as my Kimber Eclipse. This ammo has been reliable and accurate. It has never malfunctioned in any of my guns.

Personally, I would not hesitate to use it in a self defense situation (human target). It would be too light for bear defense though in my opinion.

Intercooler chronographed 1507 out of his 4.75 inch Witness. No slouch and is comparable to full power .357 magnum ballistics.

I think I am out of this ammo, but I will be buying more on my next trip to Cabelas.

Good luck with your decision. I hope this helps.
