So I posted a while ago about shooting a 4 horned ram with my 10mm. It was recommended to me to shoot whichever round I'm the most accurate with. Well, yesterday I did some Underwood shooting research (worth every penny!) and came to the conclusion that out to 50 yards (the range max) the 200 grain xtp and 150 xtreme hunter were identical. Which would you choose? I know the xtp rounds are cheaper but that doesn't concern me much because shooting/hunting is my hobby and my wife gets it. Side note, at 50 yards I had multiple groups under 3 inches with both types of ammunition. Lastly,, the hard casts didn't do as well at distance.

Ram is a big critter for a 10mm unless very close and even then. 44maggie might be a bit more humane and a lot less chasing.

No personal experience with Underwood 150gr Extreme Hunter...  Multiple successful experiences with the Underwood 200gr XTP.
Based on my personal experience I'd advise going with the XTP.

The all copper extreme hunter might be a fine choice but seem to recall you mentioning this was a once in a lifetime hunt.  ON that basis;  successful well documented track record getting the job done would be the difference maker for me.  I'd experiment on a more common hunt.  Someday, I do indeed plan to try out the Extreme Hunter line....
