Lone Wolf taking pre orders for 10mm frame Timberwolves.

It appears that Lone Wolf Dist. is finally getting around to offering a large frame 45acp/10mm option to their Timberwolf frame. I have been waiting around 3 years for this and now it's finally coming out. However, now that there are so many other pistols being offered, I'm not sure I will jump on it like I planned.

Yeah. I hear you. Long ago I pined for a non-Glock polymer option. I finally caved and picked up a G20 and G29. Now there are lots of other options.

I am disappointed that LWD isn't offering those Dusan made stainless steel conversion barrels. :'( They are pushing the Alpha Wolf line of products but yet to have as much as previous offerings.
I would be interested in a 6.02" 357Sig conversion for the G-20SF, this barrel would also fit the G-40's. They are not catering to the G-20 / G-40 other than 10mm Alpha Wolf 6.02" or 6.61" threaded option.

I have contacted KKM about getting a 6.02" 357 conversion but they were not receptive to that conversion... ${$default_sad_smiley}$

At one time they offered the 10mm 9", conversions in various lengths 40S&W, 357Sig 9x25Dillon and even 9mm conversion.

I'm very interested in some actual measurements of the front-to-back grip dimension, any difficulties or gotchas finishing and assembling it, and its reliability.

What do you mean "pretty huge size upgrade"? They advertise the grip circumference as smaller.

I have ordered one, but my FFL is being a slug about sending the copy to LW.

That's exactly the size I'm talking about - specifically the front-to-back dimension. My only complaint about the G20 Gen4 is that it's just a bit too big for my medium sized hands to be comfortable when I'm using a proper grip.

If they shave off 3.5 - 4 mm on that dimension (or even more ideally 4.5 - 5 mm), that's a pretty huge size upgrade for me.

Very interested in seeing some actual measurements for length, width, and circumference to see if it's actually worth getting excited about.

I did see that on the website, but it doesn't really tell me much since I don't know the context of the measured size of the "most popular factory 9mm service pistol" (which I presume is the G17?). Actual measurements of the LWD offering will bring that ambiguity into focus.
