XD(m) Holster and sight cut

I ordered the XD(m) 4.5" in 10mm (be here this week) and this will be my first XD (m).

Need recommendation on a OSW holster as this will be carried in the woods (rain too), range and winter carry.

I'm going to install the TRUGLO TFO sights and assume the slides are Novak cut ?

I know I'm getting my iwb made at stoner holsters in middletown,Ohio when mine comes in. I like leather, ymmv.

I am waiting to order my XDM 10mm but I would think that the XDM 40 cal holsters are the same size

I think just about any XDM holster made for a 4.5" slide will work. When I picked up mine yesterday I stopped by a buddies house to see how it fit in his XDM 3.8 9mm holsters. It slid right in to every one until the slide hit the end of the holster.

Gonna just order the 40 4.5" comptac mtac shell for mine.

I read in other posts that the XDM 10mm has the same specifications as the XDM 45 acp.

i know this is an older post, but got confirmation from springfield that the 10 and 45 are 2mm wider than the 9/40 in the xdm--so you either need a holster that is adjustable for width, or go with the 45/10mm frame holster
