Witness Vs GP P40 grip angle

Do to some recent incidents I have decided to get a CCW permit. As my beloved ColtNew Service with 7" bbl might be hard to conceal I looked at some Glocks but the natural point of them has me shooting at the roof without twisting my wrist way down I handled a K 100 a while back and really liked the grip however the P40 grip looks more like a Glock grip. Looked at a used witness at a local shop last week but noted a crack in the frame however it was an older model I did like the grip angle though. So thought some one here might have both and give me your thoughts.

Thank you M

I have both a K100 GP and many Witness pistols. I can't see or feel much difference in the grips between the two. The 10mm P40 has a little different surface pattern, but the angle and feel should be the same.

Thanks Intercooler the P40 is what in interested in

For what it is worth, I have 2 Glock's in 10MM and a P40. The grip angle is very different and the grip is thinner. A more natural hold for me.

So I looked at my 10's today. The GP40 grip is almost identical to my Sig 220, only it is a double stack. I look at it and I am like --Wow!

I am very impressed with the way the GP fits and feels.
I am also looking to add a Sig 220 to my collection and would appreciate your feedback and comparisons PCFlorida. Thanks in advance.

Ok, so let me say, I love the 220 10mm, great gun, very accurate, and a hoot to take shooting.

But, it is heavy as heck and only a single stack.

Am I sorry I bought it? Not at all. But I likely won't carry it.

Did I mention it is a hoot to take shooting? :)

I have no trouble carrying my P220 in a courier bag I adopted for that purpose. I'm not going to be making any quick draws but I probably would not from a holster either. And it's definitely a blast to shoot.

It is the gun that everyone always asks to shoot.

With the rumors of an XD in 10mm resurfacing I'm thinking I will wait on the Sig  until I hear some reviews of the XD, if it actually comes out.

Totally different guns. You will end up owning them both :)

I will likely get an XD 10 once it is proven, just because. But if it is a standard Browning action it won't hold a candle to my GP-40 in recoil reduction.
