Reloading for the 10MM Revolver -- Mini Series

Giving range fans a little view into reloading for 10MM revolvers. The load I show in this video are safe in these revolvers but should be double checked against your favorite reloading manual. This longshot load is one of my favorites I I worked up for 180gr Hornady bullets in my Delta Elite XE.

Next up 175gr SWC with the S&W 610 3 7/8in Barrel.

Just a thought, I have some 175gr swc bullets that are very similar to the ones you used though about 25 years old.  My GP100 doesn't group as well with them as it does with 200gr wfn bullets.  The swc bullets don't do poorly, they just don't shoot as tight as the wfn do

Neither of those bullets has a slick profile for speedy reloads when moonclipped.  I was contemplating buying a mold for a 175gr TC like you used but haven't clicked the "buy" button yet.

Yeah I definitely not use SWC for anything other than range fun in a revolver as they are very slow reload with. This particular GP100 seems to love jacketed bullets of any sort, not sure why that is.

Have you shot the 3" Ruger?  If so, can you compare it to the 610?

I do not know anyone with a 3in as it is a Wiley CLapp edition.
