Not exactly 10mm, but close enough for me.  He took this behemoth sow (350+, the picture doesn't do it justice, but a friend and I hauled it out, and it'll weigh every bit of that, and more) with his .40 S&W Mech-Tec conversion, 155 gr. Barnes Tac-XP, loaded by me.  The load in his Mech-Tec is just short of the same bullet fired from my G20 and 5.2" barrel (10mm load, of course).  It was a 20 yd. shot, it piled immediately, then ran about 20 yds. and rolled into the manzanita, where he made the finishing shot.  All head/neck (he said he aimed for that), no body shots.  He has a dot sight, but he said he abandoned it for the iron peeps when the pucker factor hit.  Good training, I guess (I'll take credit for that).  It worked.  It'll hang in a tree tonight and we'll get it down in the morning.  He shot it an hour before dark, and it took me that long to get up there and figure out how we'd get it down the mountain.  He got a big one, and did it in the absolute worst place on my property (500+ yds. up a lot of 45-60 degree incline)!  This was his first real game kill (other than birds), and he's thrilled.  I'm thrilled, and a little proud (maybe not just a little....).

Take a number.  They stopped taking new orders.  They are allowing dealers to get onto the list for when they do begin to fill the orders.  First come, first served.  I have a fairly early order for another one, so hopefully I'll see it before Christmas.  I can hook you up with my source, if you like.  Also, they upped their retail prices as of January 1st.  Not much, but some, depending on the item.
