I e-mailed Springfield armory to put a bug in their ear about releasing some pistols in 10MM Auto and here is their reply. Not to bad.

I have not yet heard of any plans for a firearm in 10 mm, however I have noted your suggestion to pass along to management. At the same time, our R&D and product development departments are constantly trying to accommodate the public demand, so I would simply suggest that you to check back with us from time to time and/or check the website www.Springfield-Armory.com for any new developments.

You can beat on their Facebook page easier. Many of us do often but no movement ${$default_sad_smiley}$

Maybe S&W will do an M&P at some point.

The #1 reason I started this website was so we could have a rallying point. We have about 475 members. Not enough to get the firearms manufacturers to notice us. But if we had 5,000 or more, that's a ton of people sending emails and posting requests on their facebook pages. We need to unify as fans of the 10mm. Show these firearms manufacturers that there is a market for 10mm guns. We all know what we want: An American company, American made, not a 1911, semi auto that holds 15 rounds, within the normal price range of similar style guns. That's my dream. It can come true if we spread the word. Keep telling people about this website. Like our facebook page so it spreads around. Put up flyers for this website at your gun stores and gun ranges.

I agree! I also like to "bug" the ammo companies to to release more offerings in 10MM Auto.

475 members is nothing to sneeze at. Even if only 75% of us buy a 10mm gun each year, that is a gun a day. That has to interest someone.

Sounds good on the S&W M&P. Me personally I would rather have the S&W since the 1006 has been great, don't want a Glock and already have an XD. Would be my want in a plastic gun! ${$default_cheesy_smiley}$

As of the first of the year, I no longer work for Vltor. I started a new job (and life) working as the Director of Research and Development for Bravo Company USA.

The offical statement from Gary Abrams (President and CEO of Abrams Airborne/Vltor) at the SHOT Show is that the Bren Ten will be avaliable by November of this year.

Actually, they make a couple. Probably the best 10mm's available.

I think he means a 10mm CZ-97, not a Dan Wesson....Or did I miss CZ rolling out some 75/97 pattern 10mm's?

I would love to see an M&P in 10mm. My wife has an M&P 9mm and my dad has one in .45. They have some of the best ergonomics of all the tupperware guns out there.
