Council member walks out of city council meeting

He makes a motion to ban firearms at council meetings when a military veteran announces he has a concealed carry permit and has his gun on him. When the motion fails, he stands up and leaves because he refuses to be anywhere near guns. This happened in Oak Harbor Washington, the home of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, where I did my tour as a military police officer. Lots of veterans still live in the area.

He voted with his feet, leaving the council better off. Email him directions to the anti-military, anti-gun haven of San Francisco.
