Anyone own a Kel-Tec PMR-30....

I ordered one just as soon as I herd about them... Late 2008 early 2009...

Got one in my hand and put it down...feels like a toy! My buddie was hot for one and talked me into one. We put money down March 2010. Long story short, He got his in October and I got mine just before Christmas last year.

In those two years, I bought mags, ammo, more mags and even more ammo then I bought some more ammo for good measure... ${$default_wink_smiley}$ At the time of my purchase, I had 7 magazines, two plus cases of ammo and a laser for the pistol.

We had a 45 degree day forcast, so I hit the range yesterday with the gun. MAN O MAN I AM STILL GRINNING!!! This thing is a hoot to shoot!! I need to find a lower front site as its not adjustable for elevation, only windage. But it shoots as I would expect. Accurate enough for my purposes. 4"at 25 yards off hand, 1- 1 1/2'' at 15-20 feet.

I have always thought they looked like pretty nifty little guns. I have a 22 mag Mossberg bolt action rifle. It very accurate, and the 22 mag is no slouch of a round.

I lucked out and got one for cheap this last summer. I was on a waiting list and the people before me either decided they didn't want it, and one guy before me supposedly passed away. Paid $330 for it so that made me happy.

Bought two bricks of BVAC ammo from Cheaper Than Dirt before the election. Here is a short vid of me popping off some rounds:

It doesn't quite have the same muzzle blast, nor is it as loud as CCI Maxi Mags, but it is still fun.

Asked my dealer for one before they were even released but never got it. Would love to have one but they are crazy now.
FYI for those that have one. Hornady and Speer have released 22 mag ammo that is designed for short barrels. It makes the pistol much more effective as you are not just burning powder.

The big fireball is cool but not very efficient.

I did exactly like you!! I had my money down in 2008!!!!! I had a Grendel on order back in '94 and never got it because of the Klinton gun ban... I WASN'T GONNA MISS THIS ONE!! ${$default_wink_smiley}$

When I put my hand on the first one, I did not like it and allowed it to be sold it off... About a year later my good friend convinced me we NEEDED them... That was 2010 we both again put money down... that was March 17'2010... He got his Oct 2012 I got mine Dec 2012...

ROGER THE FLASH on some ammo... The ''rifle'' stuff sure flashes!! The new Pistol ammo, Hornady Critical Defense, Speer Gold Dot and Winchester PDX1 is mush reduced to no flash. When it gets warmer I'll drag out the chrono and see just what velocities its achieving.
