For me it is a very easy choice. Whatever I get the cheapest  8)

That would be 180gr FMJ American Eagle. I also shoot a Mag or two of the good stuff while there (Underwood 155 or 180 TMJ).

For me it is 7 grains of Unique under a Lee 175 Gr SWC TL lubed with LLA.  Easy quick, and economical at $15.99/1000.

Lately I have been running a fair big of 8.5 grains of Blue Dot under a 205 grain RFN lubed with Felix.  But I don't have a 6 cavity mold for this bullet, so it takes longer to make a stack.

I like 11.0 gr. BD pushing a 180 gr. LFP (old Lee) with Thompson Blue hybrid lube (my recipe), CCI 300, C.O.L. 1.260", .420" taper.  Very accurate, consistent and clean.  Moves along just shy of 1300 FPS (1280, IIRC) in a G20, and about 100 faster through the Ruger.  If I want less than a full power load, I just shoot .40's.  Same bullet, with 6.0 gr. Unique, CCI 500, C.O.L. 1.130", 1000-1050 FPS, depending on the pistol.

How are you getting them for 16/1k,    my primers alone cost more than that.

Lead for free, trade lead for primers to a friend that has a huge back stock.  All I am paying for is powder.

I've been using Georgia Arms "Canned Heat" new rounds. Nearly used up the first 1000 round can, about to buy another.

Thats cheating.         I would never go to work if I could shoot that cheap,   only reason I go now is to make money to buy more bullets/powder/primers.

I have six kids who for some reason all like to eat daily.  Shooting cheap is the only way I get to.

Luis, you may want to check out Georgia Arms.  They have similar loads and pricing to what BVAC had when they were direct to the public, but the shipping would probably be cheaper as they would be closer to you.

If I had not started reloading, BVAC was on my list after my first batch from Georgia Arms ran dry.  At that time BVAC had benches at the gunshows here in SLC.

Like I said, worth checking.  Shipped to upstate NY there is only $8.30 difference today.  As component prices fluctuate they go back and forth on who is cheaper to the door.

Easy:  my personal handload of 5.5gr HP38 (W231) under a 180gr Rainier HP.  ONE HOLE accurate at 25 yards and powder puff recoil.

That ought to be pretty close to the original FBI ballistics for 10mm.  Some would boo-hoo that load as short and weak.  Not going to hear that from me.  Light recoil and great accuracy are a plus for lots of types of shooting.
