Hello.  Was just at my LGS and found most all of the reloading supplies have dried up.  I do have some in reserve but try not to dip into it much.  About all I could get in bulk was some 155 SWC.  Will be shooting these in a Delta, Kimber and Glock( when the barrel comes in).  Was going to start at 6.5 grains and go from there unless someone has some good loads.  Looking for some good mid-range loads using Unique.
Thanks for any help.

Unique is a good choice for everything but its metering. Its been a great powder for generations. But if your loading in a progressive, I suggest a spherical powder. 231 is a good substitute.

Thanks for the reply.  Actually Unique drops great in both of my Dillon's.  I have great luck with Bluedot also.

It isn't quite as consistent as a ball powder, but it meters fine for me.  I rarely see variations beyond a tenth of a grain or so.

Yes.  Started at the top of the chart.  9 grains of unique.  No chrono.  Some primer flattening but headstamp ok.

Hit a 12"x12" hanging plate at 100 yards 7 out of seven shots from a bench with a supported hold.  Open sights.

Colt 10mm gold cup delta elite with a beautiful trigger and good bushing on a stock colt barrel.

I was surprised.  My reloads.  Dillon 550b.

Thanks for the responses.  I started at 6.5.  Was very mild.  Cycled fine in glock.  That was the only gun I tried them in.  I worked up to 7.8.  This load seems like a winner for me with these bullets.  Still have to test them in all of my guns.  So far so good.

That seems like it is pretty hot. Any smiles or bulging of the brass?
