I would like a recommendation on a starting load using Berry's 180 FN bullets and AA #5 just as a plinking round want to work up to 1050-1100 fps range.  Also if anyone has a starting load for 155 gr XTP or 155 gr gold dot with AA #5 i would appreciate them as well.  I am not against getting a different powder type but i have AA #5 and others are not easy to find right now.

8.0 grains of #5 under a 180 grain plated works great in my G20. It is about equivalent to the "FBI Load" or "10mm Lite."

I don't have personal experience with the 155 XTP, but I like 9.3 grains under a 150 Nosler JHP. I have worked up to 10.0 grains. 9.3 grains is around 1160s for velocity.  9.0 grains should be a safe starting point for a 155 XTP.

This is not a powder that I would at all push in 10mm auto - especially not with the Berry's.

Both the 180 gr and 150 grain loads that I mentioned above are soft shooting. My wife likes them.

I'm not planning on pushing any loads hard with this powder.  Just looking for something that was available locally and will allow me to shoot more with good solid loads.  I'm thinking 1100 fps maybe a little more with 180 FP plated

Finally got around to loading some up.  I ended up settling on 9.0 gr of AA #5 my chrono shows these going about 1065 fps out of G20sf with 22 lb spring and stock bbl.  They shoot well and brass falls close.  Don't think I would go much higher with #5 since it seems to be a higher pressure powder but was all that was available at the time.  I will probably switch to another powder after this is gone.

It's just not a powder geared toward much of anything 10mm except mouse fart loads.  Like you said, it was all that was available.  At least you get to do a little shooting.
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.
