Here is my AR I built last year.

lower and upper are from American Weapon Systems, trigger is RRA 2 stage, BCG is BCM, spikes tactical heavy buffer, YHM 14.5" carbine barrel, YHM rifle length quad rail, YHM muzzle brake, Magpul furniture.
optic is a Aimpoint PRO.

Currently my only AR is a 10% lower forging that doesn't legally count as a gun. My Rock River was sold to pay for my first two Garands.

I like the full length rail with the carbine length barrel. I think that is a nice look!

YHM Free float, YHM gas block with front flip up sight, Magpul BAD lever, Magpul CTR with enhanced pad, BCM "H" buffer, DeGroat Flash enhancer ( I bought it for photo shoots, but it gives a noticable decrease in recoil so I left it on.) Hogue grip. Replica Trijicon acog

Not yet. I haven't been able to take it night shooting yet. But once I do, you can bet i'll have some nice pictures lol. I also have a Noveske KX3 aka Flaming Pig for it. That has thrown some nice fireballs.

Ok, I will play. DPMS LR308. 24" Heavy barrel. Scope is a Simmons. Kind of a POS really but gets the job done til I find a good scope for her. I named it Jessica after my first x-wife. weighs a ton and has one hell of a bark.

Here's my RRA Elite Operator in .556 with 3X9 Ziess scope.
This is not a combat gun, it weighs about 10 lbs.
I like long range shooting and this gun is very accurate with XM193.
VFG is used as a monopod not a grip.
Mini-14 is an old 182 series from 1981.
Shotgun is a Wingmaster from 1972.

Mine is a little on the heavier side too. I've had multiple different optical setups, and I believe I may be going back to a medium/long range setup soon.
