Goodbye 10mm Hello 9mm

I love my 10mm but lets face it they are a money pit.  Ammo is expensive and your once fired brass landed in the next county.   

I own several 9mm pistols and that's where it is these days for ammo development and cheap training ammo.  They are easy to shoot and maintain.

I hear you Rick. Another reason to say goodbye to the 10mm. My brother got a 38sp S&W and he comes by and treat me to a session at the range. 10mm cost twice as much as the 9mm and rough to shoot.

I bought it for carry and not range fodder. Getting older is one other reason. Sure love that power though. I can always get another 10mm in the future who knows. I kept the Fenix 10mm ammo.

Nope, but to your gripe about the ammo cost....Not if you reload them like I do. Components easy, abundant, and almost as cheap as 9mm, except hang on to your empty cases!

Sad to see you getting out of the 10mm Jeffrey, I really enjoyed your pictures of the ammo testing you used to do.

I can understand that Jeffrey. We can't shoot cannons forever. 

The PX4 I got is a sweet pistol. I replaced the recoil and hammer springs to handle +P and better trigger pull.

I also got a 20 rnd mag.

If l felt the need to shoot a simpler round like a nine, l would break out my SIG P-229 with be 357SIG barrel and let fly some warp nine 124 grains.

That's nothing compared to the 9x25 Dillon I had. Now that's a warp 9.

Really? It can't handle +P rounds? It's loaded with Uw 9mm+P 124 XTP.

He's right, they advise against hot rounds. I've shot a few of those. Glad you like it.....but your have to pay me to take it from you lol
