I had a HiPoint 40sw carbine and the 40s hit hard.
How powerful is 10mm? Well, see those craters on the moon?

Fenix replied to me. They use a 5.75" barrel for 10mm velocity, so that sucks. They said I should expect 1325-1350 from a Glock 20. So that would be 1275 or so from a G29.
I wonder what they would do in my TNW Aero Survival Rifle with its 16 inch barrel?

That would smack a deer down hard.

I see 900+ pounds of energy out of a rifle.  :o

I don't get 10mm vs 9mm, my answer is "both".  But if reloading is not in the equation, I wouldn't bother with 10mm.  Each winter I reload a 50cal ammo can each of 9mm, 40sw, and 10mm.  The cost difference is minimal.  I have a home range where brass recovery is a non issue.
