I had my fun with the power of the 10mm and the 9x25 Dillon as well with the 40sw. Say hello to my new (to me)...

Beretta PX4 Storm type F 9mm:

I bought it used at my local range for $400 with the original box and two 17 rnd mags. Looks and feels in excellent shape. Got a free shooting session with it, I got a year to use it (once).
How powerful is 10mm? Well, see those craters on the moon?

I had one in .45ACP and sold it for a Witness. It was okay, but don't really miss it and they caution against +P rounds.

Olgo

Really? It can't handle +P rounds? It's loaded with Uw 9mm+P 124 XTP.

I recently bought a LEO trade in PX4 in .40 S&W. mine is the double action only model.( type C) I have been shooting the hell out of it with my full power reloads and it has yet to have a malfunction. the only caution I have heard about them is to keep them clean. especially the rotating barrel channel.

Olgo

I found a manual online and it says that a steady diet of +P will wear the gun faster. I guess for carry it is ok.

I ordered some Fenix 9mm ammo, a box of FMJ and a box of Gold Dot. The GD are loaded really hot.

You didn't trade your 10mm off didja?!?  :o

That looks like a neat little 9mm.

RIGHT!?!  To each their own but no monogamy obligations with firearms!

Olgo

I had only one pistol all the time.

So, I am certainly no pistol monogamist.  But, I can see the point of having a limit.  I have far to many handguns that never get carried or shot. Right now it is needed for two reasons.

First, I want my children to be able to shoot and be proficient with several different actions, platforms, etc.  So having a selection of revolvers (SA and DA) and auto's (SA, DA/SA, striker) makes sense.  This gives them a good idea what they want in a handgun when they turn 18.  And they get to pick one as a present at that age, so the numbers will go down with time.

Second, I teach both NRA Pistol and Utah CFP.  Having a good representation of platforms is a benefit there, though students don't get to pick a gun to keep like my kids do!  :P

Before I became an instructor and thought through what it would take to teach my own family, as well as others, I kept it pretty limited.  And those guns all got (and still get) used regularly.  But, they were all 10's... :))

I'm on assistance so I'm on a budget. I'd have to save up to buy things. I sell things to build a fund. Lots of buyers are nothing but flakes, cheap asses who wants something for nothing.

I quit playing guitar years ago and I still haven't sold my guitar and amp. They're both NOS and my price is very reasonable. I even have a retro gaming console I've built with quality parts and it's not moving.

The guy who bought my 10mm stuff knows it's a deal he got. He appreciated it and went away happy as lark. I loved my G29 but I'm getting too old for it.

I just got back from the range with my Beretta and it's a sweetie. Very accurate and easy to shoot. I don't miss the 10mm.

My favorite is they guys who text you to "hold" it until they can get there in three days so they can "check it out".

Sorry..No I won't turn away someone with cash so you can "check it out" later.
