Here is some pics of my small handgun collection.

sorry but no 10mm yet, the gun store is still trying to find me a Glock G20

Here is my G27, this was my first firearm purchase. After I got it I installed a ghost 3.5lb trigger, grip tape, extended mag, takedown, and slide stop. About a year latter i removed everything except the trigger, takedown, and slide stop. I have thousands threw her and no problems.

she is my main EDC.

My next purchase was actually for my wife. This is her Kahr PM40. All stock. I'm thinking about adding some night sights to it.

After that was my S&W 1911sc. pretty much stock except for a different back strap and beveled mag well.

I got this for christmas from my wife and father.

S&W 686, 6" barrel, pre lock.

The 686 is one of my favorite guns to shoot. The trigger is so sweet!

Hopefully in a few weeks i can add my G20 to the list.

well let me know what you think.

I hope you enjoyed.

Nice collection.

:) I misunderstood your post at first.  You said " small gun" collection.  I saw the model 27, then the Kahr, then wait a minute, a 1911 is not Small!  :D , than a 686, that really isn't small!  :D.

Yeah, it seems those 686's really have nice triggers.

Hope you get your 10.

Thanks for sharing.

Rick, you need to go to Gunbroker.com. I just bought a new G20SF for $549, which out here is pretty darn good. There are MANY to choose from and you can sort through the selection by price, frame style, new/used etc. Then just have it shipped to your LGS. Waaaaaay easier than waiting for him to locate one. I waited almost 6 months last year for my LGS to find me a G29SF. Never again.

I live in a restricted state. So it would have to be for sale in MA, I couldn't go to NH buy a glock at kitery and have them ship the gun to a dealer in MA.

The AG in MA does not think Glocks are safe, so I can't buy it new.

Same thing with my G27.

Makes me so glad I live in a free state.  I do truly feel for you.  My grandfather lives in Illinois.  A few years back we were visiting the family farm and I stopped by wal-mart to pick up some 22 lr.

Nope.  Not without a IL FOID card.  And you can't get one unless you live in IL or an adjacent state.

It's too bad that all states can't be the same.

But then, it sure is nice to live in a state with that extra freedom.

I would love to move, but it would be too difficult, with jobs and family. But NH isnt that far away.

If I told you how much I paid for my used G27 you would throw up!

Vice

I throw up all the time.  I never get the killer deals.

They see me comin' a mile away.  ::)

Rick1987

Not a deal at all vice,

$860 for the G27. Living in a not so free state Glocks are not MA compliant. So I can't go into a gun store and buy it. But you can buy it private party, as long as both parties reside in MA and have the proper license.

So basically whoever has the handguns can set the price.

Very nice guns Rick. I wish S&W would quit with the internal locks, I haven't purchased any of the S&W revolvers since and I long for a 610 without the stupid lock!

Sorry to hear that Rick. :(

Now you are going to throw up.

I just sold my G27.  I've had it sitting in the safe forever.  I only ran a test mag through it.  I bought it as a pocket pistol, but just too blocky, so I never used it.  Sold it at a gun show a few weeks ago for $400.

If that ain't rubbing salt into the wound  ;D

$400? Wow, I wish. I love the G27. Probably because it was my first handgun.

...sorry but no 10mm yet...

How far out are the plans on taking the leap?

Which platform(s) are you considering?
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

I am moving back to MA unfortunately from NH. I have said for awhile if they arent safe Marcia Croakley then we need to get them out of the hands of the police ASAP. We don't want our police to get hurt because glocks are so dangerous!!!!! Lol ;D
